Raise Our Voices

 

Today one of the hottest topics around the globe is “Climate Change."

It is threatening our life on Earth. The words “climate change” and “global warming” are easily interchangeable, but the term climate change includes global warming and its adverse effect on humankind and the living world. There are many problems that climate change and global warming bring, and we’re just making them worse. We need to change how we do things, and we need to work on how to fix the problems we’re causing, as-well-as fixing the causes. Climate Change cannot be stopped, but at least it can be slowed.

 

The best way to deal with these issues, though, is to raise awareness of them.

We need to make these issues widely known and talked about. The more people know of these issues and the problems they cause, the more push there will be to change policies and laws to prevent and fix them. There are organizations and websites that allow people to gain information and research the problems that are being caused by Climate Change, and make their voices heard. If you believe Climate Change is an issue, I urge you to go to these websites, learn as much as you can about the problems being made, and make your voice heard. There are many people who work to reverse climate change. Activists help raise awareness of the issues that we have to deal with. Scientists study the climate and the effects of its changes. Engineers advance technologies to allow us to use more efficient and eco-friendly sources and products. These people help to change our world for the better, and hopefully, their efforts work.

 

Climate Change is not natural, at least not how we’re seeing it. What we’re seeing is caused by humans, we’ve exploited our planet too much, and we’re seeing the effects of it. We’re experiencing not only small weather problems, but big ones, and we’re seeing more of them too. Heatwaves, droughts, storms, hurricanes: All of these used to be rare issues, or at the very least they used to be less of a common issue. The thing is though, we already have solutions to these problems! The only thing we need to do now raise awareness of these problems and enact these solutions by replacing all our problematic technologies with less problematic, and more efficient ones!

    I hope it will have improvements of this long heard issue. It's been decades and it still a big problem.

    I agree with your ideas and opinions started. As you've said, the best way to deal with these issues is to raise awareness. People should be knowledgeable enough to prevent further damage and start fixing it now. Great job!

Reflection .4

I am now ending my last year as a Junior High School student. It’s such a pity that we cannot experience the traditional approach because of Covid-19, nevertheless, I learned a lot of things that will still be needed as I go on to a higher grade level. I admit that it was hard for me to answer my modules because the lessons were hard. But I am grateful for my teachers and classmates that are very nice and approachable whenever I ask questions about the given topic. Even though I am now in the last quarter, I still find it hard to balance my time with my studies and socials, that is why sometimes I cram in answering my modules. However, I promise to myself that I will do my best in order to not give in to distractions and to have my 100% focus on my academics. Time flies so fast! I still remember the day that I was composing my reflection for the 1 st quarter. Now, I am writing this reflection for the 4 th quarter.
